L Series Light-Duty Slurry Pump Full Introduction
Overall Structure

1. Double Pressure-Bearing Casing

Outer ductile iron shell bears pipeline pressure; inner replaceable wear-resistant volute liner & frame plate liner. Thin wall lightweight design, lighter than AH heavy pump. Discharge outlet can be adjusted to 8 angles at 45° intervals for flexible pipeline layout.

2. Lightweight Open/Semi-Open Impeller (Core Component)

Thin blade with moderate wide channel, auxiliary back expeller vanes reduce slurry intrusion into seal chamber. L type cast A05 high-chrome alloy; LR type integrally molded natural rubber liner. Impeller clearance adjustable externally to recover hydraulic efficiency after wear.

3. Lightweight Bearing Cartridge Assembly

Narrow span small-size bearings, grease lubrication as standard (oil lubrication optional). 30% lighter than same-size AH pump, perfect for high-speed V-belt drive & VFD speed regulation.

4. Three Optional Shaft Seal Systems

① Expeller centrifugal seal (zero flushing water, ideal for flotation & filtrate); ② Packing gland seal (economic solution); ③ Cartridge mechanical seal (for weak acid corrosive medium).

5. Multiple Drive Modes

DC direct coupling motor, CR parallel V-belt, ZVZ vertical V-belt, CV vertical belt drive. V-belt speed-up is preferred for small flow & medium high head working conditions.

Working Principle
Motor drives main shaft and open impeller to rotate at high speed. Low-concentration fine particle slurry flows axially into pump chamber; centrifugal force boosts medium pressure. Auxiliary back vanes form negative pressure barrier in seal cavity to block fine sand & reagent slurry invading shaft seal. Smooth wide liner channel reduces erosion loss of fine particles, pressurized medium discharges radially from volute outlet.

Hydraulic profile optimized for low-solid fine slurry, lower energy consumption under high-speed operation, no extra heavy pressure-bearing structure to cut manufacturing cost.

Core Advantages
1. Compact & Lightweight, Small Footprint

Lightweight casing & mini bearing frame, smaller body than AH heavy pump under equal flow rate, perfect for simple pump house, temporary installation and multi-layer platform.

2. Adjustable High Speed for Flexible Head

V-belt speed-up up to 2800~3000 r/min, easily reach medium-high head with small flow without large-size heavy pump.

3. Interchangeable Metal / Rubber Wetted Parts

L metal version resists fine particle abrasion; LR rubber lining withstands weak acid & chloride corrosion. Same pump body compatible with two liner materials for strong spare part universality.

4. Low Procurement & Maintenance Cost

Light raw material structure reduces initial investment, unit price 25%~40% lower than AH pump of same bore. Small-size wear parts cut regular replacement expense.

5. Fast Overhaul with Back Pull-Out Design

Rotor assembly can be pulled out without disconnecting inlet & outlet pipelines for single-person rapid maintenance.

6. Superior Anti-Corrosion (LR Rubber Lined Model)

Natural rubber liner tolerates flotation reagents, weak acid desulfurization filtrate & dilute chemical slurry, solving poor corrosion resistance of ordinary metal pumps.

Limitations (Strict Selection Restrictions)

1. Only for fine particles; solids over 3mm such as coarse ore, steel slag will crack impeller & liner under heavy impact, strictly forbidden.

2. Max allowable slurry weight concentration ≤30%; wear rate doubles for high-density mine slurry & tailing backfill.

3. Lightweight casing & bearings not fit for 24/7 year-round heavy continuous production, only for intermittent light-duty service.

4. Much shorter service life than AH/HH heavy pump under high abrasion working conditions.

Applicable Industries & Media

1. Mineral Processing (Core Application)

Flotation cell froth overflow, concentrate delivery, cyclone feed, thickener supernatant, low-density fine tailing slurry.

2. Thermal Power FGD System

Desulfurization filtrate pump, process clean water, dilute limestone slurry, low-concentration emergency recovery slurry.

3. Coal Washing Plant

Low-density coal slurry, flotation clean coal froth, light dilute medium circulation slurry.

4. Chemical & Non-Metallic Ore

Phosphate rock, graphite, fluorite acid flotation slurry, dilute corrosive chemical pulp.

5. Environmental & Municipal Treatment

Low-concentration sludge, air flotation froth, sewage wastewater with fine silt.

6. Building Materials & Light Industry

Dilute lime slurry, paper pulp, ceramic fine mud transportation.

Key Selection Guidelines
1. Choose AH/HH heavy pump instead of L light pump if slurry solid content>30% or particle over 3mm coarse ore & long-distance high-pressure transportation.

2. Select LR rubber lined model for medium with flotation acid reagent & chloride corrosion; L high-chrome metal version for neutral fine mineral powder slurry.

3. Prioritize L light pump for limited site space, simple platform & temporary intermittent transfer; select AH pump for large concentrator continuous production line.

4. Adopt V-belt speed-up drive for small flow & medium high head to take full advantage of L pump’s high-speed performance.

5. Reserve 10% margin for flow & head, reagent fine slurry easily causes pipeline scaling & friction loss increase.

6. Equip YB flameproof motor for flammable & explosive chemical workshop environment.

Daily Maintenance Instructions
1. Regularly adjust V-belt tension for belt-driven units; slipping under high speed reduces head sharply and accelerates bearing overheating.

2. Flush pump cavity with clean water after each shift shutdown to prevent reagent & mineral powder solidification sticking on impeller.

3. Refill bearing grease every 500 running hours for grease-lubricated bearings; strictly prohibit high-speed operation without lubricant.

4. Periodically inspect liner & impeller wear; replace worn parts immediately once grooves or perforation appear to avoid casing damage.

5. Fully drain slurry inside pump for long-term shutdown, thoroughly clean rubber liner with fresh water and air-dry to prevent rubber aging by chemical reagent corrosion.
